Obviamente, eso no quiere decir que la comunicación en español se termine ahí. Seguimos con la mirada internacional. Por favor: escriban, pregunten, y ponganse en contacto con nosotros, también en castellano, o, ya que estamos, en portugués e inglés.

Las niñas Quispe

Wie es so schön heißt, basiert der Film LAS NIñAS QUISPE auf einer wahren Geschichte. Er erzählt von den Schwestern Quispe, die im chilenischen Hochland in aller Einsamkeit leben. Als eines der Mädchen stirbt, stehen Just, Lucia und Luciana vor einer existenziellen Entscheidung.

"The story of LAS NIñAS QUISPE is a part of Chilean popular imagery. Based on a true event, it became a legend, like the legend of la Llorona in other parts of Latin America. (...) We shot the film in the place where the Quispe sisters lived, 4000 meters above sea level, in the arid mountains of the altiplano. We documented their way of life: an ascetic and primeval world, completely out of touch due to both its isolation and the period that Chile was going through. The spaces that we shot, all part of these shepherdess’ everyday life, are unique. The subjects that the plot touches upon – femininity in an austere world and the end of a way of life – are, in my opinion, universal." 
 
Dies sind die Worte von Sebastián Sepúlveda, dem Regisseur des Films. Sepúlveda lebte 18 Jahre sowohl in Südamerika, als auch in Europa. LAS NIñAS QUISPE ist sein erster Spielfilm.
