Obviamente, eso no quiere decir que la comunicación en español se termine ahí. Seguimos con la mirada internacional. Por favor: escriban, pregunten, y ponganse en contacto con nosotros, también en castellano, o, ya que estamos, en portugués e inglés.

Distinto amanecer

Set in a nocturnal Mexico City, photographed by Gabriel Figueroa in brooding shadows that anticipate American film noir, the film is both a pointed political metaphor (underlining the disappointments of a generation that had participated in the Mexican Revolution) and a pulse-pounding thriller, with a young Pedro Armendáriz as a unionist on the run and Andrea Palma (the director’s sister) as the nightclub singer (and Armendáriz’s old flame from their student activist days) who tries to help escape a government assassin.
