In ROSALINDA geht es auch, wie in Carlos Soríns neuem Film, um ein "desnivel" - ein aus-der-Balance-geraten. Allerdings wird dies nicht als Thriller, sondern als Komödie verhandelt. Zwei Seelen schlagen - ach - in Luisas Brust, so könnte man einen anderen Klassiker der Literatur frei zitieren. Im Falle von Luisas ist das ihre und die von Rosalinde, der Protagonistin des Shakespeare-Stückes. Shakespeare-Ich und Luisa-Ich kämpfen bei einem Ausflug ins La-Plata-Delta darum, wer die Überhand gewinnt. 

Der Regisseur sagt anlässlich der Premiere seines Stückes als Teil eines Anthologiefilms (zusammen James Benning und Denis Côté) im Rahmen des BAFICI (Buenos Aires Filmfestival des Unabhängigen Kinos): "I enjoy Shakespeare because even centuries long gone by, his work keeps on being personal and current for me and for those who joined me in the work. Our approach intended to show how Shakespeare´s text is close to our lives without appeling its strength. I find that rhythm was vital for our work. I think I like to concentrate on rhythm so as to find the inner mouvenment of my sounds and images. However, “Rosalind” is not only around this Shakespearean girl, but around the rhythm of another girl, the actress who plays Rosalind. The result of these two rhythms –that of character and that of the actress- is now to been seen. The task may have not been the easiest one but we sure enjoyed it much. Now we can only pass it on by heading towards a new challange: “Twelveth night”. So, this story is to be continued…"
